Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jandex (the "Service"), a software product that connects to your email service provider ("ESP") to surface analytics and AI-generated insights about your email marketing performance. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Jandex connects to your ESP (such as Klaviyo or Omnisend) and shows you analytics and AI-generated insights. It's a paid product. We read your ESP data to power those features, and we only take actions in your ESP if you turn on a tool that does (like list cleaning). We don't email your subscribers and we don't sell your data. The Service is provided as-is. If you don't want to be bound by these Terms, don't use the Service.
01 Who we are
Jandex is operated as a sole proprietorship by an individual based in Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines. References to "Jandex," "we," "us," and "our" in these Terms refer to this operator. You can reach us at hello@jandex.io.
02 Service availability
Jandex is an actively developed product. This means:
- Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product evolves.
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- We may change plans or pricing, or discontinue the Service, with reasonable advance notice to active users.
- You should not rely on the Service for business-critical decisions without verifying outputs against your source data.
03 Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, that you have the right to connect the ESP accounts you connect, and that you will keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
04 What the Service does
Jandex connects to your ESP (such as Klaviyo or Omnisend) using API credentials you provide. Most access is read-only; some tools you explicitly enable can take actions in your ESP on your behalf (for example, suppressing unengaged profiles during list cleaning). We retrieve performance data — including but not limited to campaign and flow performance, the content of your campaigns and flows, audience metrics, and revenue figures — and display it inside the Jandex interface. We also pass relevant subsets of this data to AI models in order to generate insights, summaries, and recommendations.
What we do not do
- We do not send emails to your subscribers.
- We do not modify your campaigns, flows, or email templates.
- We do not write to your ESP in any way unless a tool explicitly requires write access and you have turned it on (for example, list cleaning).
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
05 Your data
You retain all rights to your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access, store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We may also use anonymized and aggregated data to improve the Service, provided such data cannot reasonably be used to identify you, your customers, or your subscribers.

06 AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence models (including third-party models) to generate analyses, summaries, recommendations, subject lines, and other content. AI-generated content can be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or sharing it with clients, customers, or subscribers. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
07 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications to anyone.
- Connect ESP accounts you do not own or have authorization to access.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.
- Interfere with the Service's operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use automated systems to scrape data in violation of these Terms.
08 Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Jandex. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. They do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
09 Pricing and payment
The Service is offered on paid subscription plans. Billing is processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, sales-tax and VAT collection, and chargebacks. By purchasing a plan, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms in addition to these Terms.
Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are governed by our Refund Policy.
10 Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your ESP and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if we believe your use poses a security or legal risk, or for any other reason at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless doing so would compromise security or violate law.
11 Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any data, analysis, or AI-generated content delivered through the Service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
12 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jandex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
13 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jandex from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
14 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms at this URL and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction.
