Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how Jandex (the "Service") handles refunds and cancellations. It applies to all Jandex subscriptions and one-time purchases. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Jandex is a paid subscription product. We offer a 7-day refund window on your first purchase — if it's not for you, email us within 7 days and we'll refund it. After that, all sales are final, except where your local consumer law gives you a longer right. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges. Billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.

01 Overview

Jandex is offered on paid subscription plans. Billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), which acts as our Merchant of Record — meaning Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for your purchase and processes all payments and refunds. This policy describes the refunds we offer and how cancellations work; as Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy makes the final decision on any refund and may also issue one at its own discretion (for example, to resolve a payment dispute). It applies to all Jandex subscriptions and one-time purchases.

02 Refund eligibility

7-day refund window

If you purchase a paid Jandex subscription and it isn't right for you, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase. To request a refund, email hello@jandex.io from the email address on your Jandex account, and we will arrange the refund (typically processed within 5–10 business days).

After the 7-day window

After the 7-day window, all sales are final and subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period — except where the consumer-protection law of your country gives you a longer or stronger right (see Section 07). You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, and you keep access to the Service through the end of your current billing period.

Annual subscriptions

Annual plans follow the same 7-day refund window. After that window they are non-refundable for the current term, except where required by law; you can cancel at any time to prevent the next renewal and keep access until the term ends.

03 How refunds are processed

Billing for the Service is handled by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), our Merchant of Record. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Processing time is typically 5–10 business days, but may take longer depending on your bank or card issuer.

You will receive an email confirmation from Lemon Squeezy when your refund has been processed. If you do not see the refund within 14 business days of the confirmation, please contact hello@jandex.io and we will follow up with Lemon Squeezy on your behalf.

04 Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Jandex account settings, or by emailing hello@jandex.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date. Cancellation alone does not entitle you to a refund — refund eligibility is governed by the windows described in Section 02.

05 Exceptions

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

We may, at our discretion, make exceptions for documented service outages, accidental duplicate charges, or other unusual circumstances. Email hello@jandex.io with details.

06 Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us at hello@jandex.io before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved directly and far more quickly than a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.

07 Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction. Where the laws of your country grant you a longer refund window or stronger refund protections, those rights take precedence over this policy.

08 Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy at this URL and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users. Refund requests are evaluated against the policy in effect on the date of the original purchase.
